2010, a historical year ! 2010, the year of football, with two major competitions : the African Cup of Nations in January, and the World Cup in June. What could be more logical than for the African football players and their fellows from Europe to take a lead in a great cause and kick malaria out!

« Massa » Funds In Wolof, the word « Massa » is used to express compassion and bring comfort to a hurting person. There is no such word in the English language. The Massa Funds is an urgency funds to help people or families who are facing some tragedies of life (diseases, natural disaster, losses) and to let them know there is still hope.

Each year, Ebony Music gathers international and African artists on the land of Africa to celebrate African’s culture & identity and spread the message of awareness about Malaria.

Bracelets4Nets Bracelets4Nets is a vast campaign to raise awareness about Malaria and distribute mosquito nets all over the african continent. The «Stop Malaria Now» bracelet allows each holder of the bracelet to become an activist to roll back malaria by spreading the message of awareness. With 10 bracelets bought, AfricAware can distribute one mosquito net to an African family and protect them from malaria.

The press conference for the launching of the new bracelets4Nets campaign was held in Dakar on January 21st. Seynabou SY, President of AfricAware, described to the international press the objectives and innovative strategies of AfricAware through the Bracelets4Nets initiative which purpose is to save hundreds of thousand of women and children from malaria.
